Briar Rose Hill: purple wedding decor

Freed and Jesse had a romantic, countryside wedding. Purple-hued flowers, light purple bridesmaids dresses and tons of southern charm. For the decor we incorporated lavender, dark purple, ivory and champagne mercury glass. The ceremony was underneath our large Bodock tree and we added a lush floral arch. The couples reception took place under a beautifully draped tent beside our carriage barn. There is something special about southern weddings and we are excited to share these amazing pictures by John Myers Photography.

We created Rebecca and Jason's wedding from a palette of soft neutrals and pretty shades of purple inspired by the French countryside, along with lush garden florals. We worked with Faboo Cakes to design a simple and charming chocolate naked cake. We adore the various shades of purple in the florals, they add elegance and romance to the rustic setting, making it a perfect fit for Briar Rose Hill.

The inspiration came from the bride and her visits to France. She also loved different purple tones, soft Chantilly lace and the fresh smell of lavender. One of our goals when planning was to refine the rustic country vibe. In the decorations we incorporated birdcages, lavender sachets, lace linens and light colored flowers.
