Southern Magnolia Shoot

Monday, February 27, 2017

We loved working on this styled shoot with so many great vendors.  "It's always fun to be inspired by something and then have the opportunity to bring that inspiration to life."-Corinna Lindsey Weddings-

The inspiration for the shoot was a classic, white, southern Magnolia style. Corinna Lindsey Weddings (Cori and Lindsey) were inspired by old southern charm, Magnolia trees, and some of Lindsey grandmother's vintage silver pieces!

For the table, we went with simple, white dishes, and silver flatware. The garland on the table was handmade with leaves from a beautiful Magnolia tree in Lindsey's backyard. And they were able to incorporate some of her grandmother's silver pieces with the goblets at the brides and groom's place settings.

As for the dress, we knew we all wanted lace on the gown and a basic black tux for the groom, because you can't get more southern and classic than that. And, Courtney and Mike were the perfect couple to bring that "old southern charm" look to the shoot and they were so much fun to work with!

Cori and Lindsey chose Briar Rose Hill because of its look, history, and location. Cori and Lindsey said "They could not have found a more perfect room for our table. The brick, the fireplace, the chandelier!"Of course, during the setup and the shoot, we listened to this song, as well as a ton of Dolly Parton to get those southern vibes flowing.

  1. The beauty about this place is that they give you a somewhat blank canvas where you can create the wedding you envisioned, etc., which will be different from others. The staff at venues in San Francisco is incredible and professional.
